140th Anniversary: LEVI’S® BRAND UNVEILS FIRST EVER NON-DENIM LEVI’S® 501® COLLECTION

Celebrating 140 years of iconic Levi’s® jeans bloggers were invited to this star studded event where Celebrities such as Felicia chin tosh zhang ya hui and Ian fang were there to showcase their Levi's 501 interpretation in the fashion parade.

How could I miss this when Levis have accompanied me throughout my childhood, youthhood and adulthood.

Introducing a non-denim Levi’s® 501® collection for the first time by the celebrities. Breaking with tradition, yet maintaining the product’s true essence and timeless spirit, the three-piece non-denim collection is available in mineral red, chalk blue and true chino.
~ I still prefer the chalk blue color which is what I feel jeans is about.

The celebs managed to showcase a very different style each
- cool chic, girl next door, current generation and preppy. (Personally I like Tosh look. Feels the most comfortable) - I never like folding my jeans high up because feels like it makes  the calves look huge. Well...

Nowadays, it is important that jeans to be comfortable. Specially so when it has fallen into the category of semi formal look.
Tosh hence showcased how flexible the jeans can be by doing his breakdance motions in it.

Public participation were also called for. Identifying the special elements of Levi's 501.

Here's the review of the Arcuate stitch design on the back pocket has been a feature since Levi’s® 501® jeans were first made, making it one of the oldest clothing trademarks in use today (see the green arrow)

And also the Two Horse leather design being added to the back leather patch.
~ For myself, I always recognize the jeans by that!

Each celeb had then styled an 7 days shirtless guy based on their personal style interpretation using Levi's 501 jeans- the highlight of the event! (haha)

After the voting process. Who will be the winner?
